Dou Dai Zou
We developed a completely new visual identity for Ceremorning's "Dou Dai Zou" product line.
The Chinese logotype is built on a clean, sans-serif structure, with subtle playful refinements applied to the stroke details. Rather than following a conventional horizontal arrangement, the characters are composed in an L-shaped layout, creating a more dynamic and cheerful expression that reflects the lighthearted spirit of "Dou Dai Zou."
The accompanying English (Pinyin) lettering serves primarily as a visual element rather than a functional reading system. Freed from the constraints of legibility, the letters are arranged in an organic, seemingly random composition, reminiscent of coffee beans scattering and gathering during the roasting process.
In addition, an oval graphic device is introduced alongside the logotype, directly referencing the full, rounded form of a coffee bean. Through variations in color, this simple shape enriches the overall visual language while also functioning as a clear coding system for distinguishing different coffee bean varieties across the product range.
